From breast cancer diagnosis to surgery (obviously not the diagnosis I wanted to hear) Mr Thomas has been amazing! Answering all questions - even though I was concerned some were probably “silly” questions. Explaining in detail the cancer and surgery steps. I genuinely felt Mr Thomas was a safe pair of hands. I cannot praise Mr Thomas and his team highly enough. The care I received was outstanding.

Dr Thomas has been amazing throughout my treatment at Southend Hospital for DCIS (breast cancer). He took the time to explain the condition & all of the possible therapies for DCIS. We booked the surgery for as soon as possible & was booked in within 4wks of diagnosis. He works with an amazing team who I can not speak highly enough of, no question was ever too silly to ask & made you feel completely comfortable before, during & after the procedure. Thank you really doesn’t seem enough to say for the first class treatment received from Dr Thomas & his team.

Mr Thomas is an amazing surgeon and consultant. Very caring and explained everything from start to finish. He always had time for my many list of questions I had and made my cancer journey as least stressful as possible making me feel at ease and explaining everything so I really understood. I can’t thank Mr Thomas and the breast care nurses enough.
